Normally, I horde my baking stash like crazy. It’s mine, all carefully picked from grocery stores in America and spirited across the ocean to be hidden away until an idea pops into my head for something to bake. But when Beardy Bestie Fran came over for our weekend of baking, I let her pick out something to bake with. As a fellow caramel lover (I knew there was a reason we were such good friends!), she went straight to the Caramel Kisses – and knew she wanted brownies.
I let her keep the remainder of the bag – and if that’s not friendship, I don’t know what is.
Caramel Kiss Brownies (adapted from Brownie Bliss)
115g unsalted butter
230g light brown sugar
2 large eggs
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
180g plain flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 bag of Caramel Hershey Kisses
