I was kind of into ice cream toppings as a kid. One of my favourite things to do for dessert was to stick butterscotch and caramel sauce on mint chocolate chip ie cream, which my sister found to be gross and my mother derided as “pure sugar.” But I found it delicious (and still would if I could get away with it – I should go get me some mint chip!) So I decided I wanted to make a dessert with an ice cream topping – and if I say so myself, it was a pretty awesome idea.
Hot Fudge Sauce Brownies (adapted from Hersheys)
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 cup granulated sugar
16 ounces Smuckers hot fudge sauce
1 1/4 cup plain flour
