Cheeky Italian

Street food has become a big thing in the UK – backed by some major trend setters such as the Food Blogger Connect conference and the Food Network UK.  As a result, when I attended the Battersea Foodies Festival in August, the stall I was most impressed with was the delicious Cheeky Italian.

The food took a bit longer than some of the others, as it was actually prepared on the spot.  I got to watch the pasta being cooked on the spot, with the pasta being boiled and the mussels being cooked in a delicious sauce.  I’m normally skeptical about pasta without a strong sauce, rather than mixed in, but this absolutely converted me.

And it was absolutely delicious.

DSC_1351Always great to see a good new food stall around, so keep an eye out for them!

Also, y’all, I’m now on Pinterest.  I admit, I was rather hesitant at first, but it’s a great way to hunt for new ideas – so feel free to follow me or say hi and let me know you’re there!!
