These truffles are so easy to make and yet sophisticated, it feels like cheating. They’re just so easy to make – and to me, chocolate almond has always been the most elegant flavour – is that just me?
I created this for the Duncan Hines Spring Bake competition – but it was too good to keep to myself….
Dark Chocolate Almond Truffles (adapted from Cookies and Cups)
2 cups of buttercream icing (I’m pro-homemade frosting.)
1 packet Duncan Hines chocolate almond powder (or a teaspoon of almond
12 ounces dark chocolate
1/2 cup ground almonds
Little but delicious – perfect for a little dark chocolate hit when needed!
