I am constantly on the look out for candy and chocolate that I can use in baking. I’m such a dork that I actually constantly browse the Wal-mart website to see what’s new in baking and candy (is that a bit weird?)! As a result, when the lovely Lulu from Cybercandy gave me the option to review one of their new products, I jumped at the chance to review this new Milka Birthday chocolate bar. Why? Because I thouht it would make the perfect brownie!
I’ve also been a massive Milka fan – as a little girl in Germany, I used to save my allowance so that I could afford Alpine Milk Creme Bars. But the birthday cake bar is a really good fit for brownies – in addition to having that creamy Milka chocolate, about half the bar is composed of white chocolate, which makes for a great texture for a brownie. I was really happy with this recipe, and I’d definitely recommend using this Milka bar to get it right!
