It’s that time of year again… The January blahs. January is probably my least favourite month (it’s cold and wet and unlike in December, there’s no holiday to look forward to!) I grew up more south of London, so I’m still getting used to the dramatically late sunrise and early sunset – there seem to be about 6 hours of sunlight a day! As a result, I’m spending a lot of time bundled up in front of my oven!
I’ve made no secret of my love for American candy, so when I saw these Mint M&Ms at Cybercandy, I thought they’d be absolutely lovely in some brownies. I started with my failsafe brownie recipe and then popped in some chocolate chunks and Mint M&Ms.
The M&Ms had a lovely chocolate mint taste and is a nice and crunchy addition to the brownies.
Bake at 170C (350F) for about 20 minutes. I’ve found brownies really benefit from a kind of mint chip and so I’d definitely recommend them.
