Birthday Cake Bars

I’m kind of obsessed with birthday cake flavour.  Did you know that was even a thing in ice cream?  My local ice cream shop, The Creamery, has this amazing birthday cake flavoured ice cream that I’m obsessed with and even Breyers is getting in on the act.

So I decided to use a couple birthday cake flavoured product to make a super birthday cake bar.  And it was pretty amazing.

Birthday Cake Bars (adapted from Magic Cookie Bars)

Ingredients:

16 Golden Birthday Cake Oreos

1/4 cup unsalted butter

1 cup sweetened dessicated coconut

1 cup white chocolate chps

1 cup Birthday Cake M&Ms

1 can condensed milk

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERACrush 16 Oreos (I definitely needed a food processor, but could be done with a hammer and a well-sealed bag).  Spread crumbs over lined brownie pan.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAMelt butter and sprinkle over crumbs.  Spread coconut and white chocolate chips over the Oreo crumbs.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERASprinkle Birthday Cake M&Ms on top and pour the condensed milk over top.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERABake at 375C for thirty minutes (until it’s browned and bubbled over on top.)  Allow to cool, then cut up.
